Specifications for Water-to-Water Models OTI-1W - OTI-100W

OPTI TEMP Heat Exchangers are recommended when tight control of cooling water quality, flow, pressure or temperature is required, and an external source of chilled water or tap water is available.

OPTI TEMP offers a full line of non-refrigerated heat exchangers, both "water to water" and "water to air".  Features include:

The OPTI TEMP closed loop cooling circuit isolates the process cooling fluid from the tap water or chilled water source and thus provides clean, pure water to the process at stable temperatures +/-0.5 C. The OPTI TEMP units include a heater as standard for fast start up and stable temperature control during break times.

THE OPTI TEMP WATER TO WATER HEAT EXCHANGER


The OPTI TEMP Water to Water Heat Exchanger is complete with a pump, reservoir, and controls to circulate closely controlled temperature fluid to your laser or process equipment.

Standard features include a Low Water Level Alarm and Cut off, a High Temperature Cut off, and an Over/Under (out of tolerance) Temperature Alarm. Under any of these alarm conditions, the red alarm light on the control enclosure will light and a set of "dry" contacts in the control enclosure will open. The user can use these "dry" contacts to signal a remote alarm.

Other optional features are available, such as a Flow Switch Alarm; an Audible Alarm; Remote Start/Stop, and others. Contact the factory for special options that you may require.

The unit also includes an electric heater and a Digital "PID" Temperature Controller to provide temperature control to your process. The "PID" controller "anticipates" the load action to provide closer temperature stability of the fluid being circulated to your process. The user only needs to digitally set the desired temperature to the process, and the unit will automatically heat or cool -- whichever is required by the process to maintain the temperature of the fluid going to process.
